2To view printing options, click the underneath the Presets Option.
Note: Presets contain additional option(s) for Mac OS 10.9.x and later OS versions.
3If the file is ready to be printed, just click the Print button.
Note: If you have several printers, click the print dialog box and select the printer that you would like to print.
How to scan

There are two ways to scan your document from Mac OS X and macOS: 

Using Scanner Proxy
NOTE: For bonjour-enabled printers, a scan proxy is created with the printer proxy. For network-connected printers only.

1Go to System Preferences and select Print & Scan.
Note: Click Printers and Scanners for Mac OS 10.9.x and later OS versions.
2On Print & Scan dialog, select Scan.
3Click 'Open Scanner' to open the scanner dialog.
4Select the Scanner icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the scanner dialog.
Note: On the lower left-hand side of the scanner box, you may select which mode the printer will scan, whether through the Flatbed or through the Document Feeder or Automatic Document feeder (ADF).

6To start scanning, click Scan.

Using Image Capture
NOTE:This application can support both USB and network connections.

1Go to Applications and select Image Capture.
2On the Image Capture pane, select the printer under DEVICES.
Note: For network scanners with bonjour support, make sure that scanner is shared via System Preferences. Wireless scanners can be accessed under SHARED.
3For more scanning options, select Show Details before scanning a document.
4To start scanning, click Scan.
Note: Lexmark All-in-One Scan Center, TWAIN and OCR Scanning are not supported on Mac OS X version 10.7.
How to send a fax job
NOTE: If your computer has a modem that is connected to a phone line, you can fax files directly from your computer to any fax machine or computer that is set up to receive faxes.

3For fax options, just select the Fax information button; then a drop menu will appear displaying different types of options Planet farm mac os.
Note: Fax Setup Utility and the AIO Setup Utility are not supported on Mac OS X version 10.7. Fax settings may be adjusted through the printer's operator panel.
4Type the fax number in the to field, or click the Address Book button on the right of the To field to select a number. Press Fax to send.
Note: If your phone system requires you to dial a prefix for an outside line, type it in the Dialing Prefix field. Should a cover page be required, check the Use cover page option. If the fax document needs more than one copy of the document, modify Copies and Pages option.
